Arriving from the promontory Malacoccola along the Alta Via crossing some lands cultivated with olive trees and orti you reach the first alleys of the small village of Torca , a fraction of Massa Lubrense .
You reach the main square where there is the church of San Tommaso Apostolo and the municipal villa where there is also a fountain for refreshment.
Following the signs of the CAI present also in the village, they leave the streets following the path that leads to the Crapolla Fjord.
The path overlooks the sea and takes you to a stone bench in a place called “La Guardia ”, a wonderful place for its spectacular panorama. On one side you can see the Saracen watchtower of Torca, right at the base of Mount Torca , which is shown on the islands of Li Galli and in front there is the very ‘ Isca Island . Shortly after there is a crossroads where the steps that lead to the left begin towards the fjord of Crapolla . Don’t take them unless you want to descend (and then climb) the 700 more steps to reach its small pebble beach. It is worth going there as a separate excursion.
Continuing on the 300 you arrive at a fantastic pine forest overlooking the sea from which you can see the whole Sorrento peninsula and you arrive at Recommone beach .
