5. Where to sleep: The shelters

There are accommodations in Amalfi Coast for every taste and almost every budget. Amalfi e
Positano
are the main tourist centers of the
Amalfi Coast
and therefore accommodation prices are relatively expensive.

If you want to get a nice room at a reasonable price here during the main travel season between May and September, you should book well in advance or plan your hiking tour so you can spend a little outside these hotspots.

A
Salerno
, for example, one recommended accommodation is the Vigi B&B, a facility within a residential building. Small and good-looking, it has only 4 rooms. Breakfast is served in the cafe around the corner. The central location allows guests to explore the old town and various bars restaurants.

Amalfi is a tourist center of international attraction which, therefore, has high prices. We therefore recommend an overnight stay a little above Amalfi in the small town “Pogerola” (about 1 hour more walk).

There are some very nice and relatively affordable bed and breakfasts and a sufficiently large selection of pizzerias and restaurants.

Our recommendation is to turn to the
L’Arabesco B&B
, recently opened which offers breakfast on a beautiful terrace. The facility is located on the small main square of the village of Pogerola.

If you prefer family-run accommodations, we recommend the “
Green Nest
“, where bicycle rental is also possible.

Bomerano
is a district of “Agerola” and has an interesting geographic location: the topography of Bomerano is relatively flat but a few meters from the town center, the terrain slopes steeply down to the
Amalfi Coast
. The best option for staying in this beautiful town is.
Pendola House
, a B&B located about 15 minutes from Bomerano.

The rooms are clean but not luxurious, but all have a terrace with sensational views of Bomerano and other parts of Agerola. Other highlights: the well-kept garden has a nice swimming pool and a terrace with lounge furniture; homemade cakes are offered for breakfast.

Your experience will definitely touch on.
Positano
, one of the tourist hotspots of the
Amalfi Coast
. Which choice to make for overnight stay? Positano and accept the highest prices? Or stay in “
St. Peter’s Hills
” and take advantage of cheaper rates?

Finding good and affordable accommodation in
Positano
is very difficult and is only possible with plenty of notice and a little luck. In any case, the costs are not less than 150 euros.

St. Peter Hills
, on the other hand, offers a wide choice of decent and affordable facilities and hotels. For example, the
B&B Villevieille
is located on the main street and features a terrace with incredible views of the Bay of Naples.

Sorrento is another key stop on your tour. The city is made famous by its exceptional geographical location on steep cliffs, its pleasant climate, and its unique sunsets. The proximity to
Ischia and Capri
make it an international tourist attraction.

This is also reflected in accommodation rates in the city. There are numerous 5-star hotels, bed and breakfasts and small guesthouses. You will hardly go below 200 euros in Sorrento for a good accommodation.

Sorrento Flats offers good accommodation that provides balance between quality lodging at an economical price.
