Following the Alta Via dei Monti Lattari after the Monte Cerreto , overcoming the plane of Megano and the summit of Monte Cervigliano , you reach the Imbarrata. Also called Ammarrata is the arrival point of the high path of the V alle delle Ferriere < / em> ( 301 CAI ) which starts from Monte Rotondo .
L’Imbarrata is a very important point of the Alta Via, the crossing point of many important paths and braces. Following the 301 CAI you can reach the Valle delle Ferriere , Amalfi and along the way you should not forget the Belvedere Mustaculo (higher at 1005 meters) from which you can admire the view of Amalfi, Ravello and Scala. Equally important is the Rifugio Santa Maria dei Monti on the intersection of the 301CAI and the 353CAI shoulder strap. Recommended place to visit if you have the opportunity to make a detour or exclusive excursion.
